Travels in TeX Land (by Dave Walden)

I've been using LaTeX and other TeX capabilities since the late 1990s when I made a decision to stop using Microsoft Word for significant writing projects. Since 2003 I have published a number of pieces on my on-going experiences while learning and using the TeX typesetting system (and as my involvement in the TeX Users Group has increased).

I haven't written about a couple of other parts of my TeX Land experience, for example, writing Perl programs to generate the PracTeX Journal and TUGboat contents web pages and author and title lists. I also conduct the TUG interviews series, a process which will be documented in a paper by Karl Berry and me at the TUG09 conference.
