Afterglow

Once again the topic is that
everyone needs and seeks love (but the seeking is not always so
effectively done by these characters).
Julie Christie is not as luminous as she once was and as the
reviews of Afterglow suggest, but she has certainly aged
beautifully. Wow!
I saw Woody Allen's Husbands and Wives on cable the same day that
I saw Afterglow, and they were on essentially the same topic. This
made me see how Woody'esque the Afterglow story and characters
are, but not as fully realized as they would have been had Woody
directed Afterglow.
