Bulworth

Rating = B

As a polemic against the democratic and republican parties (especially the democrats) for being in the pockets of big business and ignoring the needs of the majority of the people, the movie is laudable, and unfortunately all too true. It's excellent at pointing out the silliness of many of today's most often stated nostrums, such as the US having the best health insurance system in the world.

However, as drama the story line is only strong enough to support the polemic — it doesn't really hold together as a story.

Warren Beatty is impressive in the lead role.

Overall, Beatty should be commended for making this movie.
