I Served the King of England

I didn't like this much. I wasn't quite as bored as during “Russian Ark” (which somehow this movie reminded me of) and it wasn't quite as confusing. Still, I'd like a story told in a less self conscious way. The movie knows it is being cleverly done, and this is not attractive. And the part about the main character in his old age seems pretty stretched — obviously only a device to tell the rest of the story in flashbacks.
