Because this was dubbed from
German into English, I had a hard time enjoying it — the dialog is
so artificial sounding. The story gave me a chuckle. The successful
man's wife takes up with a poor artist. The man suggest he and his
wife take separate vacations, and he spends the vacation becoming a
pal to the artist, influencing him to dress and groom himself better
and helping him find a good job that occupies much of his time. The
wife becomes disenchanted with the artist — just like her husband
now.
