Quiet American, The

This movie has great atmosphere and excellent acting by both of the male leads. Oddly, however, it didn't really grab me. Perhaps Pyle's misguided ideas about Viet Nam and what was best for it's people and Fowler's commitment to its people and it were too subtle for me.
