Twelve Years a Slave

Rating = B+

This film is not as great, in my view, as almost everyone is saying. We have seen everything in this film in other films over the decades. Also, the film has some trouble showing the passage of time, and some weak scenes (especially the didactic scene with Brad Pitt). Still it is an important story.
