On the one hand, the glimpses
into the climbing world at K2 base camp are interesting, and hopefully
not completely fictional. On the other hand, it's just one climbing
fall after another: I've never seen so many falls, finger tip grasps,
and dangling at the end of a rope in one movie, or two or three. On
the third hand, you can't say the movie is dull: there is near
constant tension from all those falls. On the fourth hand, as my wife
says about all that tension: “It's just not right” to have fall after
fall after fall after fall after fall after fall after ...
